FORDHAM OLD BAY BLOODY MARY
Ingredients
2 oz. Fordham Lee Bourbon
4 oz. Old Bay Bloody Mary Mix
2 Splashes of Worcestershire Sauce
Rim glass with Old Bay Seasoning
Preparation
Rim the glass with Old Bay Seasoning.
Combine Fordham Lee Bourbon and Old Bay Bloody Mary Mix in the glass. Add a couple of splashes of Worcestershire Sauce.
Stir well to mix the flavors.
Garnish your Fordham Old Bay Bloody Mary with bacon, celery, limes, lemons, and a pickle for a delightful and flavorful finishing touch!
Fordham Old Fashioned
Ingredients
This version of the popular “old fashioned” dates back to the 1800’s. Without muddling an orange or cherry, it allows the bourbon to truly shine.
1 sugar cube
2 dashes Angostura bitter
2 ounces FLD High Rye Bourbon
Orange twist
Preparation
Step 1
Dash the bitters onto the sugar cube and muddle at the bottom of a chilled rocks glass. Add our
Fordham Lee High Rye Bourbon. Stir.
Step 2
Add one large ice cube to the glass (or three or four smaller cubes if you don’t have a special ice cube tray). Stir until chilled and properly diluted, about 30 seconds. Spritz orange peel around the edge of the glass and lay onto the side of the ice cube.
FORDHAM MINT JULEP
Ingredients
8 mint leaves
1/4 ounce simple syrup
2 ounces FLD Bourbon Whiskey
Garnish: mint sprig
Garnish: Angostura bitters (optional)
Preparation
In a glass, gently muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup together to release the mint’s aroma and flavor.
Fill the glass with crushed ice.
Pour the bourbon over the ice.
Stir gently to combine and chill the mixture.
Optionally, add a few dashes of Angostura bitters for extra flavor complexity.
FORDHAM GOLD RUSH COCKTAIL
Ingredients
2 oz. FLD Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz. Lemon Juice
3/4 oz. Honey Syrup
Preparation
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Pour in the FLD Bourbon, lemon juice, and honey syrup.
Shake vigorously until well chilled, about 10-15 seconds.
Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass filled with ice or a rocks glass filled with ice.
Optionally, garnish with a lemon twist or wedge.
FORDHAM BLACKBERRY BOURBON SMASH
Ingredients
2 oz. FLD Bourbon Whiskey
Juice of half a lemon
6 blackberries
6 basil leaves
1.5 oz. blackberry simple syrup
Preparation
In a cocktail shaker, add blackberries and basil leaves. Muddle the blackberries and basil leaves gently to release their flavors and aromas.
Add 2 oz of FLD Bourbon Whiskey to the shaker and squeeze the juice of half a lemon into the shaker.
Pour in 1.5 oz of blackberry simple syrup.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake the mixture vigorously to combine the ingredients and chill the drink.
Strain the contents into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Optionally, garnish with a blackberry, a basil leaf, and a lemon slice.
SNICKERDOODLE BOURBON COFFEE
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Snickerdoodle cream liqueur
1.5 oz. bourbon
1 oz. heavy cream
4 oz. brewed coffee
Caramel sauce (for rimming the glass)
Whipped cream (for topping)
Preparation
In a shaker with ice, combine 1.5 oz Snickerdoodle cream liqueur, 1.5 oz bourbon, 1 oz heavy cream, and 4 oz brewed coffee. Shake well for a perfect blend of warmth and spice.
SPIKED CRANBERRY
Ingredients
1 oz. Fordham Lee Bourbon Whiskey
3 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. soda water
Preparation
Combine Fordham Lee Bourbon Whiskey, Cranberry Juice, and soda water in a glass.
Stir well to mix the ingredients.
Optionally, garnish with a slice of lime or a few cranberries.
FALL FIZZ
Ingredients
1 oz. FLD Bourbon
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1 oz. Orange Juice
2 oz. Ginger Beer
Preparation
Pour FLD Bourbon into a glass filled with ice. Add Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice and top it off with Ginger Beer.
Give it a gentle stir to combine the flavors and garnish with an orange slice or twist.
